Abigail Malzahn appointed Account Manager for Americas

Mrs. Abigail Malzahn joined Allianz Global Benefits as an Account Manager Americas. Based in Minneapolis, she is responsible for relationship management and service delivery of employee benefit programs for the US based multinational clients and consultants as well as supporting the Regional Sales Director in business development activities. Abigail has several years of Health insurance experience. She joins us from Medica Insurance Company, where she served in various roles over the last 6 years, most recently as an Account Manager for the Commercial Mid-Market.

Georgina Harding appointed Account Manager for UK & Ireland

Ms. Georgina Harding is joining Allianz Global Benefits as Account Manager. She will be responsible for relationship management and service delivery of our employee benefit programs for multinational clients and consultants in the UK and Ireland and will also support the Regional Sales Director in business development activities. Based in London, she reports to Melanie Breyer, Head of Account Management. Georgina joins us with extensive health and benefits experience from several organizations, including three years at Aon Health Benefits. Most recently, she worked as an Employee Benefits Consultant at Towergate Health and Protection.

Daniel Clark appointed Head of Tender Management

Mr. Daniel Clark has taken over the leadership of the tender management team as Head of Tender Management. In this role he will be leading the team responsible for optimally promoting the AGB employee benefits solutions in global tenders. Based in London he will report to François Jacquemin, Head of Products and Solutions. Daniel joined Allianz Global Benefits as Account Manager in February 2017. In this position he developed strong market and client experience and played a key role in implementing and managing our Captive and Global Underwriting programs as well as shaping our tendering capabilities. Before joining Allianz, Daniel worked for another large multinational life insurer in Australia for eight years in a number of key relationship management and business development roles. Daniel has completed a Specialist Risk Management Certificate.

Yury Matsukov appointed Digital Solution Manager

Mr. Yury Matsukov has been appointed as Digital Solution Manager at the Allianz Global Benefit Digital Solutions & Project team. In this role he will provide and create digital solutions and infrastructure for the company. Based in Munich he will report to Michael Scheu, Head of Operations. Yury brings with him more than 10 years of experience in the IT project management sector, managing full project life cycles as well as a broad knowledge in designing and programming services using Phyton, Django and React. He holds a diploma in Computer/ Information Technology with a focus on Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg.

Mariana Ishchuk appointed Head of Strategy Execution

Ms. Mariana Ishchuk is joining Allianz Global Benefits as Head of Strategy Execution. She will be responsible for driving and overseeing the implementation of Allianz Global Benefits’ several strategic projects. Located in Munich she will report to Dirk Hellmuth, CEO of Allianz Global Benefits. Mariana has been in several positions since joining Allianz SE in early 2017, most recently as Executive Assistant to Günther Thallinger, Member of the Management Board at Allianz SE. She comes with vast experience in Employee Benefits, having spent many years at MetLife in Ukraine before joining Allianz. She holds master’s degrees in Finance and International Business from Kyiv National Economics University and Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences respectively, as well as an MBA from Greehey School of Business at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, USA.

Matthew Jackson appointed Account Manager for UK & Ireland

Mr. Matthew Jackson joined Allianz Global Benefits as an Account Manager. Based in London, his responsibilities include relationship management and service delivery of our employee benefit programs for UK & Ireland based multinational clients and consultants, as well as supporting the Regional Sales Director in business development activities. Matthew has previously spent 15 months at Allianz Global Benefits in an account management support role in both our Stuttgart and London offices. He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages with Business from the University of Nottingham.

Julia Hillgruber appointed Regional Manager for the DACH region

Ms. Julia Hillgruber has been appointed Regional Manager for the DACH region, thus taking responsibility for client management and sales responsibility for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Based in Stuttgart she will report to Cyril Samson, Head of Sales. Prior to this, she was Head of Account Management and Sales Coordinator at Allianz Global Benefits. In the course of her career Julia has collected valuable technical knowledge and sales expertise at Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG where she worked as team leader in the corporate group pension administration area, focusing on large clients and German brokers. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Insurance from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Melanie Breyer appointed Head of Account Management

Ms. Melanie Breyer has taken over the leadership of the account management team as Head of Account Management. In this role she will lead the client service teams as well as support the sales teams of Allianz Global Benefits around the world. Based in Stuttgart, she will report to Cyril Samson, Head of Sales. She brings with her extensive experience in the field of international employee benefits from several sales functions within Allianz Global Benefits. Before joining Allianz she worked in various roles in the areas of international investment operations and global brokers. Melanie graduated from a vocational business school.

Delan Silva appointed Distribution Manager

Mr. Delan Silva is joining Allianz Global Benefits being appointed as Distribution Manager, thus taking responsibility for the Allianz Global Benefits network in Asia Pacific and the MENA region. Located in Stuttgart, he will report to Michael Scheu, Head of Operations. Delan brings with him two decades of international insurance experience having worked across multiple parts of the value chain for leading insurance companies in the Middle East, knowing Life and Health business in depth. He holds a diploma in Insurance, a Master of Science in Marketing, and specializes in health insurance, digital marketing, and business development.

Federico Lentini appointed Account Manager

Mr. Federico Lentini has been appointed Account Manager at Allianz Global Benefits. As soon as the situation of the current Coronavirus pandemic so permits, he will be based in Minneapolis. Reporting to Julia Hillgruber, Head of Account Management, he is responsible for relationship management and service delivery of our captive and other employee benefit programs for the US based multinational clients and consultants as well as supporting the Regional Sales Director in business development activities. Federico has been part of the Allianz Group since 2010, most recently as an Executive Assistant in Sales Management at Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs - AG in Leipzig. He has a Business Administration background with a B.A from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and an MBA from Fachhochschule für Oekonomie und Management (FOM).

Giovanni di Meo appointed Regional Sales Director Asia Pacific

Mr. Giovanni di Meo has been appointed Regional Sales Director Asia Pacific, thus taking responsibility for client management and sales activities in the Asia Pacific region. Giovanni will be based in Munich and will report to Cyril Samson, Head of Sales. Prior to this, Giovanni worked as Head of Business Development at Generali Employee Benefits. With over 10 years of international experience in corporate and retail insurance, he has also spent a few years working in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Giovanni has a Business Administration background with degrees from Rotterdam School of Management, Bocconi University and University of Trieste.

Nathalia Luna appointed Global Benefits Actuary

Ms. Nathalia Luna has assumed the role as Global Benefits Actuary. In this new position she steers all actuarial tasks related to the technical development and implementation of Allianz Global Benefit’s proposition. Based in Stuttgart, she will report to François Jacquemin, Head of Products & Solutions. Nathalia Luna joins us from the International Development Life department of Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG where she has been supporting the internationalization of life product processes and the IT system development. With a Masters in Actuarial Science, Nathalia has 11 years of experience and worked as a Reinsurance Actuary at Prudential in Brazil and as a Senior Consultant at msg, Infosys and in-pact.
