Mateo Raciti appointed MEB Statistical & Portfolio Analytics Subject Matter Expert

Mateo Raciti is joining Allianz Global Benefits as MEB Statistical & Portfolio Analytics Subject Matter Expert. In this role he will have underwriting responsibility within the AGB Underwriting Team. Based in Munich, Mateo will report to Konstantinos Vetsis, Head of Underwriting EB Team. Mateo comes from Argentina and has nearly 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, mostly with Ergo in Germany. He specializes in statistical & business analytics as well as UW and holds a Master’s degree in Insurance & Risk Management from MIB in Trieste, Italy.

Anjela Lu Antonie Ching appointed Global Governance Manager

Anjela Lu Antonie Ching is joining Allianz Global Benefits as Global Governance Manager. In this role she will be responsible for integrating external and internal governance regulations and standards such as SoG (System of Governance) into the AGB environment. Alongside this, Anjela will continue the development of a system to monitor and control governance requirements within AGB, whilst giving aid in dealing with the legal aspects of various contracts within AGB. Based in Stuttgart, Anjela will report to Steffen Gehring, Head of Finance & Governance. Anjela most recently worked as the Governance Intern. She also brings experience in communicating, coordinating, and collaborating with consultants, experts, and lawyers in handling corporate claims and disputes and researching regulations, laws, and legal articles for preparing reports, case files, and legal advice which she gained from working as a legal assistant at Sinohydro Corporation Ltd. in Doha, Qatar. She finished her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology at University of the Philippines, and pursued her Juris Doctor degree at San Beda University, Philippines. She has recently completed her Master of Laws – European & International Law at Saarland University, specializing in European Economic Law and MBA Management Track in January 2024.

Jean Rossouw appointed MEB Pricing Actuarial & Reinsurance Specialist

Jean Rossouw is joining Allianz Global Benefits as MEB Pricing Actuarial & Reinsurance Specialist. In this role he will be responsible for the pricing and reinsurance function as part of the integration of functions earlier performed by AZRe and UWD with Allianz Partners. Based in Munich, Jean will report to Konstantinos Vetsis, Head of Technical EB Team. Jean has 11 years of experience as actuarial specialist in the insurance industry in the South Africa Region, with a specialty in Group Life Pricing & UW, Product Development, Reinsurance Management and Profitability measures. Jean has a Bachelors of Science in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
